Don't look now, but liberals are on the attack and now the cross hairs are set on other liberals. With the mid-term elections around the corner there has been a lot of finger pointing by the left, to the left.
The governor's races in both NJ and VA seem tight but based on local news organizations they are not close at all... in fact if you are only watching national media coverage of both races you would be inclined to believe that the conservatives are "gaining ground" where in fact they are "pulling away."
The larger issue however is much more interesting then just the mid term elections because the larger issue involves elected officials that happen to be democrats and the far far left wing stone-throwers that got them there.
Arianna Huffington is urging VP Biden to resign in protest if the decision is made to send more troops to Afghanistan. Look beyond the obvious need for more troops to the underlying issue which is the far left pushed and pulled and fought to get Obama/Biden in only to see almost NO difference in war and defense management. Less than one year into this administration the polls have started to turn, and turn sharply in the wrong direction. When numbers are released towards the end of October, I will not be shocked at all to see Obama hovering around 40% approval and over 45% disapproval and the reason for that is simple: He has done NOTHING different and ran a campaign that promised change. (Insert punch-line here.)
We are just a few weeks away from the real barometer test in America and as NJ and VA go, so goes this administration. Both states have been solidly left leaning for the past decade and to lose either would be a clear slap in the face of this administration which carried NJ by double digits and VA by a similar margin.
When you promise the world, you have to deliver. This administration hasn't and coupled with losses in the mid-term election we may be on the verge of real "change" as originally promised.
